Excellent condition 2002 GIBSON LUTHIER'S CHOICE ADVANCED JUMBO (AJ) BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD CUSTOM SHOP with OHSC.

Brazilian rosewood back, sides, fingerboard and bridge; Adirondack spruce top and braces; mahogany neck; bone saddle, nut and bridge pins. Crafted by Ren Ferguson and his crew at Gibson's Bozeman, MT Custom Shop, the Luthier's Choice was built with Brazilian rosewood until around 2006, at which point the rosewood transitioned to Madagascar.

When Gibson introduced the Advanced Jumbo guitar back in the late 1930s, it boasted one of the most prominent low-end voices of any guitar available, largely thanks to having a large, round-shouldered Dreadnought body. This guitar is exceptionally big and punchy sounding thanks to the Adirondack Red Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood fretboard, with a 1-3/4" nut width for a traditional look and feel, and braced with a traditional scalloped "X" •    This limited edition Luthier's  Choice model also features distinctive Mother-Of-Pearl inlay on the fingerboard, gorgeous firestripe pickguard, a rectangular rosewood bridge with a long saddle, and Waverly open gear tuners, as well as Fishman Rare Earth sound hole pickup for amazing tone when you plug in. This guitar has very little signs of previous play time on it. Aside from a small top ding near the edge of the lower bout on the treble side and and some slight pick marks it's in excellent condition. The frets are in perfect condition and show no wear. The neck is straight and true. It plays and sounds fantastic. This guitar retailed for $11,500 back in 2002. Comes with original paperwork and hard shell case.
